Abby McAllister
Founder
Abby started Brighter Days Banners with a simple belief: no child should spend a long hospital stay in a room that feels cold and anonymous. She leads our mission, our banner makers, and every delivery with heart.
Started in Indianapolis from my dorm room at Butler University, Brighter Days Banners began with one simple idea: every child in a hospital room deserves to feel celebrated and surrounded by community support.
What began with one painted banner has grown into a growing community of volunteers working to bring personalized banners, thoughtful gifts, and brighter days to children facing long-term hospital stays.

Social Media Director
Sydney shares the joy of every banner delivery across our social channels and helps spread the word so more families and volunteers can find Brighter Days.
Every banner is free — made possible by volunteers who donate their time, paint, and hearts.
As our family of banner makers grows, so does this wall of brighter days. Real family stories will live here soon.
Print these flyers for hospital bulletin boards, pediatric clinics, schools, art guilds, and community centers. Each one links families and volunteers straight to this website.
We create personalized, hand-painted banners at no cost for children facing long-term hospital stays — celebrating milestones and reminding them they are loved and never alone.
